Pop My Cherry Takes Over Belfast’s Waterfront Hall for a Sold-Out Night of Fun, Theatrics and Unfiltered Entertainment

Podcast sensation Pop My Cherry brought the party to Belfast’s Waterfront Hall on 9 October, delivering a sold-out live show packed with laughter, iconic guests and unforgettable moments. Hosted by social media personality Gerry Lavz, alongside co-host and producer Sean, the show transformed the venue into the ultimate girls’ night out, celebrating community, connection and the freedom to have fun.

Building on the success of last year’s show, Pop My Cherry returned bigger, bolder and more theatrical than ever, bringing its signature blend of humour, personality and unapologetic entertainment to a packed audience.

The sold-out event featured an impressive line-up of iconic guests, including Emma Kearney, Q Radio’s Ibe Sesay, Ellie Kelly, Jenny Baird, Luke McKibbon and his iconic mum, siblings Andrea and Sean McCarragher, Deirbhile Kelly and Danielle Walsh.

At the heart of the show was Gerry Lavz’s vision to create more than just a live podcast. The event was designed as a welcoming, inclusive space where women and members of the LGBT community could come together, switch off from everyday life and enjoy a night dedicated to pure fun.

“I just wanted to put on a proper show and create a safe space. A space where people could have a short escapism and have FUN.”

Reflecting on the ambition behind this year’s production, Gerry added:

“We need more fun in the world, and creating this show and elevating it from last years was truly such a passion project.”

The sold-out success at Waterfront Hall marks another exciting milestone for Pop My Cherry, demonstrating the appetite for live entertainment that brings people together through humour, personality and a shared sense of belonging.
