A 39-year-old man has been charged with grievous bodily harm in Portadown.
Police say it follows a serious assault in the Thomas Street area early on Saturday.
A man in his 50s was left fighting for his life.
The suspect is due to appear at Craigavon Magistrates Court on Friday September 17th.
