Seven year old Sophie Townsend from Forthglen in Cookstown has been picked to star in a new festive music video called 'No More Sad Songs!'.
The song is the Christmas single from Derry-Londonderry singer and songwriter Sarah McGuinness, taken from her debut album 'Unbroken'.
Sophie's father Andy Townsend has been speaking to Q Radio about the music video and says the musician Sarah is actually his sister, and that's how Sophie came to be involved with it all, despite never acting before.
In the video, the seven year old plays the central role of a young girl who's waiting for her fisherman father to come home on Christmas Eve after a storm.
Andy said he was delighted with the outcome of the video and is extremely proud of both Sarah and Sophie for how well it turned out.
