A further information event on how to detect counterfeit currency has been organised for Cookstown.
It’s due to the increase of fake notes being circulated in the Mid Ulster area.
The event has been organised by the Policing and Community Safety Partnership and the local Crime Prevention Officer.
It takes place next Tuesday (9 May) from at 1pm to 2pm in Santander, Cookstown.
A representative from the Ulster Bank will give advice and training as to how to spot counterfeit notes.
Representatives from shops and businesses are encouraged to attend.
