Organisers of a West Belfast fanzone for Friday's Linfield vs Celtic game say they have withdrawn their application for council funding
The area for Celtic fans has been set up at the Devenish Complex.
There had been criticism that council funding may have constituted a misuse of public funds
However organisers Feile an Phobail says it no longer requires additional finance to deliver the fanzone.
A spokesperson for Feile added the group will not be used as a political football, despite the attempts of others.
