The DUP has rejected any idea of border checks being moved to the Irish sea.
Arlene Foster used the party conference in Belfast yesterday to spell out her opposition.
She said there must be no block to trade with the rest of the UK or the Republic.
She also attacked Sinn Fein for no movement on power-sharing at Stormont.
