Attempt to rob Coleraine mail van

Coleraine police are investigating criminal damage and attempted theft from a Royal Mail van.

It happened in the Pates Lane area around 10.30 on Saturday morning.

Two teenagers in blue and grey hoodies are believed to have smashed the driver's window.

They failed to force open the rear doors but extensively damaged the vehicle.

Anyone with information is asked to please contact Coleraine PSNI on 101.
