A man accused of biting part of another man's ear off has been remanded into custody.
24-year-old Thomas McCoubrey from Victoria Street Belfast was charged with causing grevous bodily harm with intent and possessing class A cocaine.
It's thought the charges are in connection with an assault on a man in Waring Street in Belfast earlier this week.
McCoubrey who was using crutches was allowed to remain seated during the hearing.
He was remanded into custody and will appear again via video link on September the 22nd.
