A body recovered from the River Foyle on Saturday has been confirmed as that of Sam Comber.
The 39 year old was last seen in Derry/Londonderry over a week ago..
A Facebook page, 'Help Find Our Sam' had been sent up to appeal for assistance in the search for his body.
His family say they believe he had gone swimming before getting into difficulty.
Police say the family has asked for their privacy to be respected at this difficult time.
