North Coast PSNI say they'd a very busy twenty-four hour period earlier this week.
Eighty-two incidents ranged from domestics, assaults, criminal damage, bail breach, road crashes, animal welfare and anti-social behaviour.
Police say the spike was partly to do with the Lammas Fair and the last day of the summer holidays.
