A petrol bomb attack in Newtownards has been condemned as 'reckless' by police.
A car was extensively damaged after it was targeted in the Ballyreagh Way area at around 1.20am this morning.
Fire crews attended the scene to extinguish the blaze.
Detectives are investigating a possible motive.

A PSNI spokesperson said: "Police are investigating a petrol bomb attack in Newtownards which occurred during the early hours of today (Friday, 14th August).
"At 1:20am it was reported that a car was on fire in Ballyreagh Way.
"Police attended the scene along with the NIFRS, who extinguished the blaze. It was established a window of the vehicle had been smashed and a petrol bomb thrown inside the vehicle, setting the car alight. Extensive damage has been caused to the vehicle."
Inspector Ray Shaw added: "We are working to establish a motive for this reckless attack, and we are appealing to anyone with information which may assist our investigation to call us."
