A woman has died and a child remains critically ill following yesterday's crash on the main Belfast to Bangor road.
A number of vehicles collided on the Belfast Road at Ballyrobert which was reopened to traffic in the early hours of this morning.
In a statement the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service told Q Radio : "The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service was called at 15:48 on Friday following reports of a three vehicle RTC on the Belfast Road, Ballyrobert.
"Three Rapid Response Paramedics, three A&E crews, a Paramedic Officer and a Doctor have been dispatched to the incident. The Air Ambulance is also in attendance.
"One child has been taken to the Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children and another patient was transported to the Ulster Hospital.
"This is an ongoing incident and no further information is available."
