It's after a car was searched in the Bankmore Road area following reports of suspicious activity.
Two pick-axe handles were also seized.
Four men were arrested and have now been released on bail pending further enquiries.
Chief Inspector Graham Dodds said, “It was reported that a suspicious vehicle was seen in the area at around 3am.
Police conducted a search of the vehicle and arrested four men on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon. A claw hammer, Stanley knife and two pick-axe handles were also seized. All four were released on bail pending further enquiries.”
