Coleraine Town Team is helping to spread some Christmas cheer by organising a Best Dressed Window Competition.

It’s a new initiative which is aimed at rewarding retailers for their Christmas creativity.

Coleraine Town Team is keen to recognise the efforts businesses make when it comes to enhancing the Christmas shopping experience in the town.

The overall winner will receive a specially commissioned award designed by glass artist Helen Harty, which is based on the Coleraine town logo.

There's no need to formally enter the competition, but retailers must have their displays finished ahead of the judging day, which takes place on Thursday, December 1st.

Causeway Coast & Glen Borough Council’s Economic Development Officer,Julienne Elliott, told Q Radio's Roger Donnelly, it's a first:
