Sinn Fein councillor Tommy Maguire has welcomed extended defibrillator provision across the district.
That's after Fermanagh and Omagh District Council agreed to install the life-saving equipment at more locations.
The Enniskillen-based councilman says the move will "undoubtedly" save lives.
“In cases of cardiac arrest timing is crucial. The sooner that a defibrillator can be used, the better the chance of survival," he said.
“By extending the council defibrillator provision to more locations, lives will undoubtedly be saved," he continued.
“I welcome the fact that, as a council,l we are also looking at extending this initiative to recycling centres across the area," he added.
