A 43 year old man has appeared in court following Tuesday's armed siege in the Mountsandel area of Coleraine.
Before Ballymena magistrates court was 43 year old Mark Kelly of Knockantern Grove in Coleraine.
He faces five charges in total - three of possessing a gun or imitation gun; one of assaulting police and one of resisting police.
The charges relate to an incident at a house in Coleraine earlier this week when fully armed police officers surrounded a property.
Relatives of Kelly sat in the public gallery throughout the brief hearing.
Kelly was remanded in custody to appear back in court via video link on the 12th of September.
