Covid-19: Two deaths, 2,465 new cases

Two more people have died after testing positive for coronavirus, the Department of Health has confirmed.

A further 2,465 positive cases have been diagnosed.

One of those deaths occurred outside the most recent 24-hour reporting period.

There are 437 people in hospital who have tested positive for Covid-19, of whom 13 are in ICU and six of them are being ventilated.

In the past seven days the highest percentage of new cases has been among those aged 35 to 39.

There are outbreaks in 171 care homes.

The death toll since the pandemic began stands at 3,156
