An investigation is underway after a report of criminal damage in Newtownabbey.

A car was damaged in the early hours yesterday morning and police are appealing for witnesses.

Meanwhile a person has been arrested following several reports of criminal damage to cars in Glengormley town.

Reports came in just after midnight.

Anyone with information is urged to contact police by dialling 101.
