An Elderly man has died as a result of a farming accident in South Armagh.
The Health and Safety Executive say they are aware of an incident in the Silverbridge yesterday afternoon.
The man, has been named locally as Gene Murphy, who was in his 70's.
Details of the accident remain unclear, however it's believed to have involved a Tractor.
No one else is believed to have been injured.
Local Councillor Barra Ó Muirí says it's heartbreaking:
A spokesperson said: “The Health and Safety Executive for Northern Ireland (HSENI) is aware of the death of a farmer in the Silverbridge area of County Armagh and is currently investigating the circumstances.
"Our thoughts are with the family involved at this very difficult time.”
