Former North Antrim DUP Assemblyman David McIlveen, who publicly criticised leader Arlene Foster, says he's unlikely to stay in the party.
Last week he accused the DUP hierarchy of avoiding issues raised by the Renewable Heat Incentive scandal.
Mrs Foster is strongly resisting Sinn Fein's calls to temporarily quit as First Minister.
Mr McIlveen lost his North Antrim seat in last year's elections.
He says the DUP leadership didn't know the difference between humility and humiliation.
