A man who claimed he owned the house he was caught robbing is in police custody.
Police in Limewood in Banbridge caught the man red-handed around 5:30am this morning.
He claimed he was a lawyer who was having a clear-out, and ordered officers off his property if they didn't have a warrant.
The cheeky thief is in police custody facing burglary and attempted burglary charges.
