A woman has been assaulted in Newtownabbey.
It happened in the Church Road area of the town at around 8.30am yesterday morning.
Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
A PSNI spokesperson said: ''Police in Newtownabbey are appealing for information and witnesses in relation to an assault which took place in the vicinity of Church Road area yesterday morning.
''A report was received at approximately 8.30am that a female was assaulted.
''Enquiries are continuing, and police are appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time and may have witnessed any suspicious activity, or has any dash-cam footage, to contact them on 101, quoting reference number 302 of 13/05/21.''
