Former Omagh woman Aoife McArdle directed the Audi advertisement which was shown during the Superbowl.
USA Today lauded the success of the advert – and in a tweet, the newspaper credited Aoife McArdle.
‘Daughter’ was one of the most talked about advertisements.
Aoife grew up in Omagh and studied in Dublin.
The advertisement addresses gender inequality and the pay gap that exists between men and women. It won praise on social media.
Aoife has also directed ads for Honda and Samsung as well as U2's Every Breaking Wave.
