The funeral of a man believed to have killed a popular music teacher and stabbed her son in Co.Fermanagh has taken place today.
Peadar Phair died in hospital on Monday evening after attempting to take his own life.
It's understood the 55 year old stabbed Concepta Leonard to death at her home in Maguiresbridge before turning on her son Conor.
The 30 year old, who has downs syndrome, was released from Hospital this evening and is being cared for by friends.
Peadar's funeral was said to be a low key affair on Thursday with family members and religious figures in attendance.
It's since emerged Ms.Leonard, who was a popular music teacher, had feared the suspected killer.
She'd taken out a non-molestation order in a civil court action in a bid to prevent her former partner from using or threatening violence against her.
It's understood the order due to expire hours after the murder, and she'd planned to apply for a fresh order on Tuesday.
Ms.Leonard's funeral will take place at St Mary's Church, Brookeborough, at 11am on Friday, where she will also be laid to rest afterwards.
