Fire and rescue have said that crews were driven away from incidents because of hostile crowds.
It happened last night during the busiest time of year for firefighters.
They received call-outs to Rostrevor and Newry but were forced to leave.
In a statement they said "there were no injuries to personnel reported during these incidents".
