Breath tests were conducted on motorists in Omagh on Saturday night.
Police say a number of drivers tested were extremely close to the legal limit.
They say if they been stopped an hour earlier or had taken an additional drink, arrests would have been made.
Police point out that the consequences of drink driving can be devastating.
And they say they’re committed to working to reduce the number of fatalities on the roads.
