IRA slogans daubed over Derry Londonderry playpark

Vandals have daubed IRA slogans over a playpark in a predominantly unionist area of Derry-Londonderry overnight.

Sectarian graffiti was scrawled across children’s play equipment and bins in the Irish Street playpark in the Waterside last night causing outrage.

DUP Councillor David Ramsey says it is a deliberate attempt to intimidate local residents and heighten tensions.
