The local community in Marrylin have been left devastated after the tragic death of a local footballer.
25 year old Niall O'Hanlon - who played for Magheralin FC -was killed last night after he was struck down by a car on the New Forge Road.
Billy Fyffe is the club's secretary...he says the team is heartbroken:
The club posted an emotional tribute to him on their facebook page earlier, saying:
Last night our wing wizard and best friend was tragically taken from us. He was the heart and soul of our wee football club and village. He will be sorely missed.
We love you Niall. Rest in peace.
Thoughts and prayers are with Niall’s family and friends at this time.
Walk on, walk on
With hope in your heart
And you'll never walk alone
You'll never walk alone.
