There will be major 'Save the NHS' demonstrations in Belfast and Enniskillen later.
They pickets have the backing of Northern Irealnd's two largest trade unions; NIPSA and Unite.
Members will come together at City Hall and the Diamond at 1pm as waiting lists and A&E backlogs continue to grow.
They want more money invested so there is less reliance on private services.
Pat Lawlor from NIPSA has told Q Radio it's getting to a critical stage.
