A man and woman are due in court later, charged with a number of child cruelty offences.
It follows an incident in the Mosside area of Ballymoney last week.
Police responded to a house on Thursday evening, and Q Radio understands the property has remained sealed off over the weekend.
A 30-year-old man and 31-year-old woman will appear at Coleraine Magistrates court today.
They face a number of charges including child cruelty, and causing greivous bodily harm with intent.
The pair also face a charge of causing, or allowing, a child or vulnerable adult, to suffer serious physical harm.
