A man has been arrested on suspicion of a range of offences after a taxi driver was robbed at gunpoint in Antrim.
The driver has picked up his fare of two men and a woman on the Ballymena Road, at around 12.30am this morning and took them to Junction One.
On arrival, one of the men who was the front seat passenger, brandished a gun and demanded money, before hitting the driver in the face with the weapon.
The trio then made off.
A short time later, police received reports of a break in at a burger van in the Springfarm area and criminal damage at a shop on the Ballymena Road.
A 20-year-old was detained and remains in custody this morning.
