Detectives have arrested a man in Strabane as part of a cross border operation investigating Paramilitary Style attacks.
The 32-year-old was detained under the Terrorism Act following a number of searches in the town this morning.
He is currently being held in Musgrave Serious Crime suite.
Meanwhile, Gardaí also arrested a man in relation to the operation.
