A man has been banned from every Marks and Spencer store in Northern Ireland and every shop in Belfast City Centre.
Police say the well dressed individual was detained in Donegall Place yesterday after paying for just £4 worth of food.
He was reportedly trying to steal almost £100 worth of goods but the PSNI says he was caught on CCTV by security staff.
The man has also been reported to the Public Prosecution Service.
