A 29 year-old man has been charged with attempted murder after a stabbing in Newtownards.
A teenage girl was attacked in the Thomas Street area on Saturday.
The 19 year-old sustained stab wounds to her arm, body and neck during the incident.
The suspect is due before Downpatrick Magistrates Court this morning.
