Police are investigating a serious assault in the Skeoge Road area of Derry Londonderry last night.
A 24 year old was punched in the face, with him falling to the ground and banging his head.
He was helped by two passers-by before being taken to hospital by ambulance where he remains in a serious condition.
Officers have appealing for nyne who was in the area or who may have captured mobile phone or dashcam footage to contact police on 101, quoting reference 2318 12/07/20.
