A man's been taken to hospital after being stabbed in the chest in North Belfast.
It happened at a house in Strathroy Park in the early hours of this morning.
Police say while the 46 year old's injuries are serious, they are not believed to be life-threatening.
A PSNI statement said:
Detectives are investigating after a man was stabbed at an address in north Belfast.
The 46 year old sustained a stab wound to the chest when he was attacked by another man in a house in Strathroy Park at around 4.50am this morning, Saturday 28 September.
He has been taken to hospital where he is undergoing treatment for his injury which, although serious, is not thought to be life threatening.
Anyone with information regarding this incident or who can assist police in locating the suspect is asked to contact detectives at Musgrave CID by calling 101 and quoting reference 276 28/09/19.
