Members of Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council have attended Remembrance Sunday services across the region
The Mayor, Alderman Maura Hickey, laid a wreath in Coleraine during the Act of Remembrance held at the War Memorial in the town centre.
She said: "Following on from the two minutes silence held on Friday to mark Armistice Day, Remembrance Sunday provides us with another opportunity for reflection. The War Memorial in Coleraine, like those found in towns and villages throughout the Borough, serves as a constant reminder of the sacrifices made in the past. These are brought to the fore during the Remembrance period, and particularly on Remembrance Sunday when we gather together to remember the fallen."
Remembrance Services in the Borough will conclude on Sunday, November 20th when a service will be held at St Thomas Church on Rathlin Island with wreath laying in the adjoining church yard afterwards.
