Police are investigating unconfirmed reports that a device may have been placed under a vehicle in Newtownabbey.
Detectives have identified the vehicle which is believed to have travelled along the O’Neill Road and Church Road earlier.
The vehicle does not belong to members of the police or military.
Members of the public have been asked not to approach or touch anything suspicious.
Chief Inspector Alan Hutton said: “Police in Newtownabbey are appealing for information after an unconfirmed report was received today, Monday, 5 December, that a device may have been placed under a vehicle.
“I would appeal to anyone if they come across any suspicious object not to touch or approach it. They should contact police immediately.”
