A man and woman who were arrested following the discovery of suspected firearms in Derry/Londonderry have been released on bail.
It is believed that police were called to a flat in Waterloo Street, near the Bogside area, shortly before 5am yesterday after a domestic incident.
Army experts were also called to the scene following the discovery and the area was sealed off for a time.
A PSNI spokesperson said: "A man aged 24 years old and a woman aged 28 years old arrested on suspicion of firearms offences, following a report of suspected firearms at an address in Waterloo Street in Derry/Londonderry on Monday 15th June, have both been released on police bail pending further enquiries."
