An elderly driver escaped serious injury yesterday after crashing on the M1 Portadown slip road.
PSNI, firefighters and an ambulance were called out to the serious collision but found a crowd of people helping the driver when they arrived.
In a Facebook post they praised the public including an off-duty doctor and a group of women who pulled a tree off the car.
It is understood the driver is recovering from minor injuries.
