Council boundary signage dubbed "illegible", could cost up to £6,000 to replace.
That's what district councillors were told at a meeting of Fermanagh and Omagh's Policy and Resources Committee yesterday.
In June of last year, a total of 39 bi-lingual signs were approved and erected across the two counties - at a cost of £18,000.
Councillors will now have to decide on which new design they prefer.
