Preparations are getting into full swing for a big charity effort to help keep the doors open at the Southern Area Hospice.
Newry's answer to Black Santa, John Dalzell, has raised almost £1.7m in his annual sit-out
2019 will be his 28th year, with the collection starting on December 14th and running until Christmas Eve.
To mark the 30th anniversary of the Hospice, there'll also be a concert at the Town Hall on December 18th.
It brings together bands from across the community and they're enjoying practising together for the unique occasion.
John will turn 78 during the sit-out and says this year is extra-special...
