The woman left critically ill after an incident in Newry more than a month ago has thanked local people for their support as she continues to recover. 51-year-old Mary Lennon sustained serious head injuries at her house in Hollyridge Lane, off the Tandragee Road.
She was fighting for her life at one stage but was last week discharged from hospital.
Mary says she's received many messages wishing her well and would like to thank everyone who has been in touch.
Two men were questioned about the incident then released on police bail pending further enquiries.
