Planting is underway for the cross-border peace forest.
A thousand trees are expected to be planted today at the Old Forkhill barracks.
It's in remembrance of those who lost their lives during the conflict here.
In total four thousand trees will be planted in the Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon district, and across the border in Ballieborough, County Cavan.
