A pensioner has been arrested during an anti-terror raid in Newtownbutler.
A property was searched there earlier today by officers investigating violent dissident activity.
The 66-year-old man has been taken to Musgrave Serious Crime Suite where he is being questioned by detectives.
A PSNI spokesperson said: "Detectives from the Police Service of Northern Ireland’s Terrorism Investigation Unit, have conducted a search and arrest operation in the Newtownbutler area today in relation to violent dissident republican activity.
"A 66 year old man was arrested under the Terrorism Act and has been taken to Musgrave Serious Crime Suite where he is currently being questioned by detectives.
"The police investigation continues."
