A petrol bomb has been thrown at police in north Belfast.
It happened close to Rosapenna Street in the Ardoyne Avenue area, after officers went to investigate reports of a suspicious vehicle at around 1am.
The PSNI came under attack from stones, before the incendiary device hit their vehicle.
A 19-year-old man was arrested and is being questioned on suspicion of a range of driving offences.
He remains in custody assisting with enquiries.
