A police dog has helped locate a missing person in an operation in Castledawson.
Officers combed a forest area for the high risk person, assisted by a police helicopter.
However due to difficult terrain they couldn’t locate the individual.
The dog, known as Rex, quickly picked up the scent, and after half an hour, the missing person was found in a distressed state.
The person was taken to hospital for treatment.
