Police in Ballymena are appealing for witnesses following the attempted petrol bombing of a house in the Lantarra area on Friday, 24 March.
Constable McToal said “It is understood the incident occurred shortly before midnight with petrol bombs being thrown at the window of a property but failing to ignite. This was an extremely reckless attack and it is fortunate that the were no injuries as a result of it.
I would appeal to anyone who may have information which may assist the investigation to contact police at Ballymena on the non-emergency number 101 quoting reference number 1463 24/03/17. Alternatively, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
