Police are investigating whether a man found unconscious in the Springfield Road area of West Belfast was hit by a car.
The man - in his 30's - was found by police just after 6 o'clock this morning close to the Springfield Road/Crocus Street junction.
He is said to have a serious head injury and leg wounds and has been taken to hospital for treatment.
