A number of main Post offices across Northern Ireland will be shut today as members of the Communications Workers Union go on strike.
Union officials say the dispute is over branch closures, job losses and pensions.
More industrial action is planned during the winter.
Union spokesman Laurence Houston says, the issue centres on the sell off of Crown post offices.
